For sale is my sons outgrown 24inch wheeled Genesis Core mountain bike with many upgrades that makes it a really capable kids mountain bike. Frame :- Kids specific Genesis Core 24 in 6061 Aluminium. Few stone chips and cable rubs as can be seen in the photos and to be expected from a bike of this age. But no cracks or dents. Included are the original manuals and touch up paint. Forks :- Air adjustable Suntour XCR - the air adjustable version which is perfect for lightweight growing kids. Wheels :- 24 inch quick release front and rear currently setup with tubes but they have tubules tape and have been running tubules before. Rims are unbranded but the rear hub is a Shimano FH-RM35. Front wheel has been replaced and is a Jalco with a Scott hub. The front doesn’t have stainless steel spokes so is showing signs of rust but the hub is an improvement. Both tyres are Schwalbe Hans Dampf’s with plenty of life left. Also included will be a spare 24inch Schwalbe Tabletop as a faster rolling tyre and the original front wheel as an emergency spare but the bearings need replacing plus as many spare 24inch inner tubes as I can find! Gears :- Setup 1x10 with a suitable 11-36 tooth Shimano cassette on the rear that allowed my son to climb without the need for a derailleur with a large cage prone to rock strikes on a smaller wheeled bike. Shifter is a Zee 10 speed and the rear derailleur is also a Zee with the clutch that works flawlessly - never dropped a chain. Chainring is a 30T narrow wide Blackspire Snaggletooth in matching orange. Brakes :- Shimano BR-M395 with 160mm rotors. Both brakes bled last summer and still feel good to me. Other parts worth mentioning :- ODI Cross Trainer lock on grips with plenty of life and worked well for my sons small hands. DMR V6s pedals in matching orange. Saracen kids specific smaller saddle. Lezyne Flow Cage side entry water bottle cage. Suntour 152mm kids specific length cranks. If the full asking price of £400 is met then I’ll also throw in an externally routed Brand-X Ascend dropper post in 27.2mm that fits this bike and my son was able to operate with his weight. Buyer must collect from Sunderland SR6 or arrange courier collection as I do have a box that I would be willing to dismantle and package the bike into. I'd also be happy to meet at a local riding spot like Chopwell or Hamsterley
